Name: Nichole Parker

Education: I graduated from Gilroy High School in 2006. I attended Gavilan College for two years, graduating in 2008 with an AA in Liberal Studies/ University Studies. I am currently attending San Jose State University, persuing a Bachelors Degree in Advertising.

My goals: I want to obtain a job at an advertising agency. Since I was young, I have been amazed with the world of advertising. From commercial, to print and out of home advertising, there are so many creative outlets to tap into. I want to become a copywriter. Some of my favorite works come from the Martin Agency- the Geico & Free Credit Report.com commercials. However, I also admire the work of Crispin Porter & Bogusky, Ogilvy & Mather, and TBWA.

More about me: From the beginning writing has been a big part of my life. At the age of ten, I attended my first Young Writer's Conference and began to develope as a writer. For years I have turned to the written word to express myself and within the last two years, I have found my distinct voice in poetry. My writing is an example of free form poetry that embodies strength and raw emotion.
